 CODE OF ORDINANCES GADSDEN COUNTY, FLORIDA
The terms "clerk of the circuit court," "county clerk" and "clerk of the board of county commissioners" mean the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the Second Judicial Circuit in and for Gadsden County, Florida.
The county manager shall be the administrative head of the county and shall be responsible for the administration of all departments of the county government, which the board of county commissioners has authority to control pursuant to this division, the general Laws of Florida and other applicable legislation.
If the board of county commissioners fails to appoint an acting county manager or if there is a vacancy in the office of county manager, the board of county commissioners shall perform the duties of the county manager during his temporary absence, disability or during a vacancy of the office.
