Gail Emms and Donna Kellogg have recently risen to the top of the women’s doubles badminton world through strong results both in Europe and Asia.
Gail participated in the MVP Cup in 2005 winning her mixed doubles match with partner Nathan Robertson (then #1 in the world) in a thriller over local heroes, the Asuncions.
Emms and Kellogg are currently ranked 4th in the world and should be favorites to take home the points in this match-up.

Gail Emms is number 1 she is the best womens badminton player in the world and she is the prettiest.
Emms did make a few mistakes in the first game, but when she really got into it in the second and third game, i think she was actually as sharp as Gao Ling if not sharper.
Gail was weaker at the rear court, that created numerous chances for Zhang/Gao to force a clear out of them and then Zhang pounds the birdie to the floor.

The visit to Northwood Badminton Club by Gail Emms and Donna Kellog which was won by Vasi for our club went very smoothly and was enjoyed by all.
We didn't manage to tire them out too much though, even with keeping them on court for two hours.
We were also presented with our Silver Accreditation by Andy Hastings and Gail Emms so are now officially accredited by Badminton England.
