		Gaiters are a pretty simple item, but to be the best they must be effective in lower leg protection from snow, underbrush, water, etc., be very light weight, easily fitted, and simply constructed.
		Occasionally during climbs I found that I had to readjust the footstrap as the gaiters shifted, but this is to be expected, and not a big hassle to adjust once more per day.
		These gaiters work pretty well in the snow, but they are a bit too heavy for general use.

		Hi, I found Yeti gaiters more of a faff than anything else,I found I got wetter damper feet from the build up of sweat than damp from the terrain I was tromping across I use Terragaiters from Extremities for snow/winter mountain abuse and the new paramo short gaiter for Rainy days/boggy ground.
		The Paramo short gaiter is 25 pounds and is really usefull and not nearly as sweaty as a full calf Goretex gaiter.I'd sooner have damp feet.
