	Discworld characters - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Cousin of Granny Weatherwax, Galder is the Chancellor in The Light Fantastic, and a real wizard traditionalist.
		At the start of the book he appears to be very much the stereotypical Anglican priest, constantly ensuring both sides of the argument are heard, and being painfully tolerant of others' views.
		After spending a long journey with Granny Weatherwax however, he changes quite a lot, and regains his religious fire.

		As for Galder Weatherwax, Granny confirms in LandL that he was a distant cousin.
