Konami of America Inc. was established in the United States in 1982, and in 1984 Konami expanded to the United Kingdom and established Konami Limited.
Konami was one of the most active and prolific third party development studios for the NES, which led to conflict with Nintendo of America's licensing restrictions.

A paper thin plot, which is expected from a game of this nature is present - Konami characters were sent an e-mail asking for their appearance in a go-kart race.
Konami Krazy Racers is a fun racer that doesn't have any major faults other then being slightly too easy and having a few dull tracks.
But until that game arrives this is ideal for those who don't mind playing a slightly kiddy game in front of their mates.

Konami did a great job with the game's front end, in that once the application is launched, all functions can be accessed solely by a game pad (including switching games, changing settings, etc.).
All 5 games are actually surprisingly playable, considering their age, but some more so than others.
Castlevania 2 was the first game in the series to add some Adventure/RPG elements, and is the main reason I bought this compilation.

The games that let you run around in all directions back then placed a lot of limits on where you could go, so I figured that a game which let you run wherever you wanted would be pretty fun.
Since then I've worked on games like Gradius III on the SFC and Parodius on the PC Engine that were among the first we did for each system, all the way up to the PS2, but I think the Famicom era was still the most fun I've ever had.

Gradius III is one of those Super Nintendo games that was really popular back in the day, but was kind of forgotten about as time went by.
But, with the release of Konami’s compilation of Gradius III and Gradius IV for the PlayStation 2, interest in the Gradius series has rekindled, and I felt now was the best time there ever was to review Gradius III for the Super Nintendo.
Even though it is not a Deathmatch Mode, the Multiplayer Mode that Konami included, which is very similar to the Super Mario Brothers series’s Multiplayer in it’s alternating between the two players style, is still very fun and it is an excellent addition to Gradius III.

Currently just titled Castlevania DS, the game is a direct follow-on from Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, the third of the critically acclaimed Game Boy Advance series instalments.

Alright, I like skateboarding games and all, but this game is no Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.
And the game goals were pretty dull, I mean like, even THPS2 had better deals than this thing.
The X-Games competition mode was OK, it was nice for a change to get rated by "judges" on your skating performance instead of skaters shouting out insults at you or banging their decks against the ground to say if you were good or bad.

Da mein Vater bei Konami arbeitet seit ich das Wort Videospiele fehlerfrei schreiben kann, habe ich einen doch recht engen Bezug zu den Spielen dieser Firma.
Konami wurde von einem Herren namens Kagemasa Kozuki in Osaka, Japan gegruendet und zwar, haltet euch fest, 1969 (!!!).
Heute hat Konami weltweit ueber 2000 Mitarbeiter, davon ist allein die Haelfte fuer die Entwicklung neuer Spiele zustaendig (1000 Mitarbeiter um das mal in einer Zahl auszudruecken, die nichts anderes machen, als an Videospielen zu basteln) und Konami zaehlt zweifelsohne zu den besten Gameproducern.

The main character's scythe doubles as a weapon and platforming tool, which nicely represents the two sides of the game: first-person shooter elements and weapon-heavy combat, and third-person platforming.
