		“Gamuda has increasingly looked for Middle East jobs after its proposed project with MMC Corp to build a RM14.45bil high-speed train network along Peninsular Malaysia was postponed,” its analyst Saifuddin Morat said in the note.
		According to Saifuddin, Gamuda’s need to augment its current order book of RM4.1bil had been the main driver for the company's expansion to the Middle East.
		Gamuda’s share price, he said, was also trading at a slight discount to its construction peers such as IJM Corp Bhd in terms of earnings for the financial year ended July 31.

		GAMUDA (India) Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Malaysia's Gamuda Berhad, is set to bag the Durgapur Expressway project between Dankuni and Palsit on NH-2 in West Bengal by quoting the lowest semi-annual annuity amount of Rs 39.98 crore.
		The lowest annuity bid submitted by Gamuda for the 69 km-long project would be forwarded soon to the Board of NHAI for its consideration and clearance, the Government sources said.
		Gamuda in combination with WCT has already bagged the 63 km-long annuity highway project between Panagarh and Palsit at a semi-annual annuity price of Rs 55.5 crore.
