Sodhi Khatri, resident of Patna on the bank of River Jamuna, (Patna is in reality on the bank of the Ganga and not the Jamuna) Samat 1718 in the month of Posh, Sudi Saptami, Wednesday, was born at night.
Only after being ordained the Guru did Tegh Bahadur proceed eastward to preach the Sikh religion, going as far as Assam and touring all places ion the region which Guru Nanak had hallowed some 150 years before, and which no other Guru had visited since.
Nothing in the booklet is convincing enough to controvert the historical fact that Guru Gobind Singhji was indeed born at Patna Sahib in 1666 and was about nine years of age when Sri Guru Tegh Bahadurji was martyred in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk in November, 1675.

It is said that after the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the tenth Master declared that he would create such a Panth (Sect) which challenge the tyrant rulers in every walk of life to restore justice, equality and peace for all of mankind.
Guru Tegh Bahadur soon afterwards proceeded to the imperial capital, Delhi, and courted death in November 1675.
Emperor Bahadur Shah had at this time to move against the Kachhvaha Rajputs of Amber (Jaipur) and then to the Deccan where his youngest brother, Kam Baksh, had raised the standard of revolt.

Baba Saroop Singhji stood with his hand folded after paying obeisance and said “Maharaj Ji what is the Hukam for me?” Baba Sahib said “Saday Khurak Hundi Hae, Aap Dekho Koi Jeea Na Hovay”[“I Feel Itchy, You Take A Look Perhaps There’s An Insect.”] Baba Saroop Singhji started looking closely at the bed.
