| | Rocknerd | Review: GarageBand |
 | | GarageBand fills the next obvious gap in Apple's integrated software packages, which so far have included iTunes, for music playback, CD burning, and playlist creation, iPhoto, for photo manipulation and album creation, iMovie (see a pattern here?), for QuickTime movie editing, and iDVD, for DVD creation and burning, including interactive menus and other features. |
 | | GarageBand also requires a DVD drive for installation, since it comes with what appears to be several GB of loops on one disk. |
 | | GarageBand's volume automation settings are MUCH easier to use than Deck's, where one had to spend quite a lot of time clicking and command-clicking around on the little volume envelope display in order to create drag points, and then dragging them around. |
