The California Highway Patrol says a man, 24, was driving eastbound on the Garden Grove Freeway with three others when a Honda Accord pulled up, and a gunman fired several shots at them.
CHP officer Garry Goldenberg says the man is hospitalized in "critical but stable condition." The victim's friends say they were going home from a night at the Hawaiian Gardens Casino, and that they didn't have any problems at the casino or road altercations before the shooting.
