GARGANTS   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-09-12)
The construction of a Gargant is in itself an act of god worship, and stands for all that is Orkish.
The Gargants are near completion, and the armies of the warlords have been mustered.
When the Gargants are ready, the scaffolding is pulled away and the great boilers are stoked for the first time.

 Orks vs Space Marines
The Ork army was: 1 element of Nobz (Warband general), 6 elements of Boyz (Hordes) 3 elements of bikes, buggies and battlewagons (Riders), one element of tanks (Knights), one Slasha Gargant (Behemoth) and a Weirdboy Battletower (Magician).
Terrain was used but had no effect on the battle; both sides had an area of brush in their rear, the Orks had a gentle hill on each flank, and the Marines had a gentle hill in their centre.
The Ork Gargant was now attacking the Marine's right flank, eliminating the Land Raiders stationed there, and putting it in the Marine's rear.

PG sent his bombers to hit the assault Gargant, the 2 Gargants were close together enough that each of them could get hit by on of the templates.
The normal Gargant destroyed what was left of the Nurgle retinue and then a Supa-Stompa destroyed what was left of the Chosen retinue.

Epic: Armageddon - Gargant prices?   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-09-12)
If you look at the Gargant weapons set up you will see that you need to buy a Mek to change one weapon on the Gargant off the list it costs 50pts which brings your gargant price back to the original cost.
As cost deals with rarity of a unit as well as effectiveness this seems to indicate to me that the standard Gargant or great gargant is more common in this list than either the core list and or than Modified gargants in this list.
The Gargants are cheaper as they make a large amount of the army and if you didn't trim the costs slightly then the army would have a very limited number of activations.

To the right of the Gargant were arrayed the Ork Boyz, whilst far over on the Ork lft he could see squadrons of Bikes, Buggies, Battlewagons and Bonecrushas, all poised to turn his right flank.
The Eldar left was now under threat from the Gargant, and Solus ordered the Vipers to attack it in order to draw it into a position where the Exarchs could engage it.
Their attack was successful, drawing the mighty engine forwards, but their retreat was not quick enough, and the Gargant claimed another unit.

Though the gargant's plodding steps seemed slow, each covered many strides of a man. The great beast's stride ate the miles, though it stripped the bushes and trees of leaves along the way, adding to the layers of blubbery fat beneath its hide.
Amara kept her eyes open as the gargant's plodding steps brought them around a bend in the trail, and over a small hill, into the valley beyond and behind it.

I don't think an Ork Army is complete without a Gargant, and at 300 points, it is perfect for the size of games that I play.

If the network did link to other areas, you could have moogle guards near the bounderies to them, warning you of which exit is ahead, so you don't go wandering blindly into an area of IT++ mobs.
I suppose, like Chocobo and Airship, you would have to pass some sort of quest to be allowed acces to the Gargant network.
And also, this is the sort of thing which would have to be added in an Expansion pack, since the amount of assets required for this would be far greater than a normal version update.

Their clumsy movements matched those of the Gut Rolla as one of them, the 'Ead Kicka, Morfang thought, raised the huge mega kannon in its right arm towards the sky, letting loose a giant shell as its crew became ever more excited over the impending battle.
