Gary, thanks for forwarding the messages about the LANL controversy with Carlos Castro.
Gary, here is a copy of a message that I sent to Carlos Castro, in reply to a message that I received from him.
Also, since his message says that it sent a copy to gabekkum@mediaone.net which I think is an incorrect address, because I tried to use it in sending you a copy of my reply to Carlos, and it bounced.

 Adventures with Cassiopaea
The core of this issue is found by examining the structure of the physical non-material reality (the fifth phase of matter) that is produced as a result of the strange loops of dynamic interaction between a thought and the physical representation of that thought.
[Gary] The secret of the "alien scientists" is that they have recognized that this dynamic is intimately interwoven with the material physical world.
[Gary] Indeed, the totality of their scientific pursuit is based on the manipulation of the physical non-material fifth phase matter, in order to synthesize new properties and order.

Jack Sarfatti: American military is pursuing new types of exotic weapons - PRAVDA.Ru
My unique and original claim, documented in my two books from 2002, is that both anti-gravitating dark energy and gravitating dark matter are forms of exotic quantum vacuum of differing degrees of coherence of negative and positive zero point pressure respectively.
I was the senior physicist at Joe Firmage's ISSO that Bekkum mentions and I introduced Creon Levit to Joe and encouraged him to take a leave from NASA to direct ISSO Science for Joe.
Bekkum fails to acknowledge J.P. Vigier as the leader of this project.

Thanks Gary, this is quite relevant to what I have been talking about.
In my theory "gravity shielding" means creating a region of dark energy exotic vacuum with negative pressure by a variant on the Josephson effect using a real superconductor "impedance matched" to the vacuum.
Of course, whether this or that particular symmetry should be forced upon Nature is a delicate matter and is ultimately empirical as in the breakdown of "parity" mirror space symmetry in the weak force of radioactive beta decay.

Making an analogy with Maxwell's theory (R Kiehn's topological forms) means something like a displacement current so that the metric and torsion field square roots have something like the Maxwell transverse radiation which maybe gives a "dynamics" to loop quantum gravity and non-static time dependent Calabi-Yau spaces for superstring theory!

I've been recently emphasizing threads on locality and related topics on sci.physics from the viewpoint of Probable Influence (PI), and I've been surprised to find that various types of Many-Worlds, Multiverse, Many-Histories, and even Many-Minds theories agree with my emphasis on locality rather than non- locality.
In particular, I came across Gary S. Bekkum's Aug. 6, 2000 2:28PM posting here, "Re: quantum theory does not need an interpretation," and Guido Bacciagaluppi's "The role of decoherence in quantum mechanics," The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy (Summer 2005 Edition), Edward N. Zalta (ed.), forthcoming URL http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/qm-decoherence/.
I had read David Deutsch's "Fabric" book some years back, but at that time I didn't realize its possible relevance to locality.
