GARY CHALK asks Don Murphy about possibly voicing Prime in the film... - The Superhero Hype! Boards   (Site not responding. Last check: )
Voice-acting is almost always superior when the actors aren't forced to dub over an anime; where they have to time everything precisely, and take iron-clad ques from the animation without any lean-way.
Gary is a good Optimus, no doubt, but a prime he will never be.
Unless Gary Chalk was able to do a deeper, more gruff-sounding Prime for the movie than the voice he uses for Cybertron, I'd rather see them go with someone else.
