		Brussels: The Kashmir-EU week was inaugurated at the European Parliament on Tuesday, by Gary Titley MEP, Leader of the European Parliamentary Labour Party.
		The exhibition is intended to highlight the impact of the earthquake and focus on increasing awareness, said Gary Titley.
		Supporters of Pakistan and the people of Kashmir hope that the whole week would draw similar crowds inside the parliament so that the daily images on world television screens (which have been replaced with new stories) jolt their memories about a disaster which is still there.

		In one of the most recent attacks on Monday, a mail bomb exploded in the Manchester, England office of British member of the European Parliament (MEP) Gary Titley.
		A shadowy group calling itself the Informal Anarchist Federation has claimed responsibility for the bombs, all of which were sent in December from the Italian city of Bologna.
		Titley said the bomb, which was opened by his wife, made him more determined to advocate on the E.U.'s behalf.

		Two letter bombs addressed to senior members of the European Parliament burst into flames and another was intercepted at the legislature today in a continuing string of mail attacks on European Union targets that have yet to cause injuries.
		A bomb in the Manchester, England, office of British Socialist legislator Gary Titley caused minor damage when a staff member opened a parcel.
		At Titley's Manchester office, a staff member opened a parcel that had arrived during the Christmas holidays and it immediately caught fire, enveloping the office in dense, acrid smoke.

		The European Parliament adopted the report by British MEP Gary Titley on the introduction of the eCall system by a large majority.
		Most speakers in the debate warmly welcomed the introduction by 2009 of an eCall system installed in vehicles which would use satellite technology to alert the nearest emergency services to the exact location of a vehicle in the event of an accident and which could save up to 2,500 lives a year.
		The report recommends that all European authorities include eCall information within their public road safety campaigns, and that "the large-scale-roll-out of eCall by 2009 is a priority of the eSafety initiative".
