The "Autobahn 113", a new route from Neukoelln to Airport Schoenefeld
The disused Airport "Gatow", on the Southwestern outskirts, the former base of the British Royal Air Force, closed in 1995.
The disused Airport "Staaken" on the Western outskirts is closed after WW2 because the wall was build in the middle of the airfield.

The city has actually 4 airports, 3 used for civil operations (Schönefeld, Tegel, Tempelhof), one is a military airport (Gatow).
Except Schönefeld, all these airports are located in the area of Berlin, not far away from the city.
Just like the Tegel airport Add on, this Scenery is simply a must-have (you MUST have seen the main building on time in your life ), so don't loose your time and download it.

Tickets are valid for 2 hours, and for a trip from Schoenefeld Airport to Berlin city you need zones A, B and C. Using the ticket machines in the airport, first select English, then 'Local Traffic' then Berlin ABC.
This airport is unusual in that arrivals and departures are on the same level.
Exit the airport, turn left, and the subway entrance is on the corner of the small park.

This part of the former airfield has since 2003 been part of the district of Berlin-Kladow.
U.S. Army Generals Dwight D. Eisenhower and Lucius D. Clay at RAF Gatow during the Potsdam Conference in 1945.
