This was the reaction of Barbara Jensen, Gautrain spokesperson, to reports that the Tshwane metro council was busy with an application to the Gauteng government to extend the express train's route to the planned Rainbow Junction sports stadium in Wonderboom.
Jensen said the Gautrain project had been planned in such a manner that the route could be extended to the north of Tshwane, the East Rand, West Rand and Soweto.
