	Gavin Strang - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Dr Gavin Steel Strang (born July 10, 1943) is a Scottish politician, and Labour Member of Parliament for Edinburgh East since 1970.
		Between 1997 and 2005 this constituency didn't exist, and was mostly replaced by Edinburgh East and Musselburgh, Strang held this seat during this time.
		Strang was a minister under Harold Wilson and James Callaghan, serving as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Energy in 1974 and then at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food until 1979.

	Covenanters
		One of the most well known martyrs' resting place is in Hamilton old Kirkyard where there is a tombstone to the "Heads of John Parker, Gavin Hamilton, James Hamilton and Christopher Strang, who suffered at Edinburgh, Decr 7th 1666" :
		The inscription shows the victim, pointing at an open Bible, while a soldier is taking aim with a rifle, a sword hanging round his waist, and a steel helmet upon his head.
		At Ayr there is a headstone to seven martyrs who were executed in the town as a warning to the townspeople of what would happen if they joined in any of the uprisings.

		Nice clean holes too, my guess is at shorter range they would most likely tear up an engine block pretty badly.
		If you add the steel floor plate and buy Brownells TEFLON coating you have nearly the same thing for a lot less.
