		According to a press release from the City Attorney's office, citizen complaints and two police undercover operations led to the legal action that was filed against the 2200 Club which is located at the corner of University Avenue and Mississippi Street.
		The San Diego City Attorney's Office first issued a warning letter to the business in January 2005 after complaints from the community that people were meeting at the bathhouse to have sex.
		In December 2005, a criminal complaint was filed against the business, alleging six misdemeanor counts for failing to have a bathhouse permit and for operating an adult sexual encounter establishment in violation of zoning laws.
