The community dances are a little stressful since I always feel like we are representing all of gay square dancing, but they are fun too and it is always fun to dance to a live caller.
First off, when you thank the square in straight square dancing, you only thank the men, the women are left out of it.
Gay dancers push up through the levels as fast as possible so you end up with a wide range of skill levels and dancing experience in one square.
