GEASA haven’t really had a stage show like that for a few years now and I have to admit I don’t miss it much, but sometimes…I wouldn’t say our corpse paint /spikes/ leather days are gone forever!
It’s a good representation of the bands work though, we could have done some things a bit more professionally but hey, we were young.
I suppose as a band you have to keep learning by your mistakes,(in the studio and as a writer) So far I think that one has given me the most satisfaction, I have very high hopes for what we will record next though.

Abaddon Incarnate are another Irish band that have been going for a lot longer than most people realise.
After a German tour, the band had been changing their listening interests; moving away from the straight death that characterised "The Last Supper" and absorbing new styles from the likes of Brutal Truth and Nasum.
Deciding that S.O.M were not 100% behind the band, they set out for a new deal and landed on Ireland's Sentinel Records, whose original plan was to release a split cd with Belfast's Hexxed in 2001.

To the outside observer the Irish metal scene may not seem to be up to much, with few bands making any sort of waves internationally (although that should all change, thanks in no small part to the new Primordial album).
You’ll be happy to hear though that the underground, indigenous metal scene is strong, with tonight’s triple bill attracting a nice sized crowd.
Main support Geasa, won the crowd over with their powerful Gaelic fl metal, although it was Hexxed who showed the most promise, stealing the show outright.

Back to traditions, Geasa has many meanings but most popularly it's known as a curse, a prohibition, an oath etc. It's an old Gaelic word and was always weighed by its seriousness, all victims or makers of the Geis were honour bound to see its realisation.
Geasa also sounds quite the same as primordial, did you choose for that, or is it just the evolution of the sound of the band?
Bands, especially metal bands aren't really respected by venue owners here, which is strange for a country so famous for its musical culture.
