  TYPICAL GECKOS - GEHYRA
Gehyra species have not found much of a following among keepers, at least in the UK.
This is a pity as some of the species are very attractive, nor are they particularly delicate as long as they are not overly handled.
Coloration: dorsally light to dark brown, relatively uniform but roundish dark and white spots may be present on the back and head, especially in juveniles.

 A Field Trip To The Middleback Ranges,
Friday night was a very warm night (26.C) and turned up many gecko species and a multitude of scorpions crossing the road, despite being a clear night with almost a full moon.
The most common gecko species found at this time were the Beaked Gecko Rhynchoedura ornata, Eastern Spiny Tailed Gecko Diplodactylus intermedia and the Tree Dtella Gehyra variegata.
It was almost 3am and on our way back to camp when we came across our first snake for the trip, a beautiful 1.5m Mulga Snake Pseudechis australis which certainly woke us up from our drowsy state after driving the road for some 6 hrs.

 COLLECTING REPTILES IN THE PILBARA REGION, NORTH-WESTERN AUSTRALIA.
A short two hour pit-stop in the hills just 8 kms north of the centre of Alice Springs between 4.30 and 6.30 PM on 19th August netted me a young adult male Stimson's Python (Antaresia stimsoni), five Spiny-tailed Goannas (Varanus acanthurus), 2 large juveniles, a sub-adult and a pair of adults, 20 Bynoe's Geckos (
), 8 Dtella Geckos (Gehyra sp.) and three 18 cm skinks (Ctenotus sp.).
The area was rocky and it was in these outcrops that the reptiles were found sheltering.

 Bird watching trip report - Thailand - surfbirds.com
A Striped Tree Skink (Lipinia vittigera), a rather rare encounter, was observed on a tree close to Orchid Waterfall.
Species seen around the Khao Yai camp ground include: Berdmore's Narrow-mouthed Frog (Microhyla berdmorei), Dark-sided Frog (Rana nigrovittata), Fehlmann's Four-clawed Gecko (Gehyra fehlmanni), Scincella reevesii, Calotes emma, and a Keelback (Amphiesma spec.).
