  KID vs. Genki: 'Unresolved Tension'
Genki is the center and the KID is the second hand circling reluctantly as time ticks away, perhaps trying to frustrate his nemesis.
The strike which preceded Genki going to the ground was clearly on an illegal spot, as was the intentional one to the back of the head in the early half of the fight.
Sudo was obviously still aware at the fights shut off, but he is too much of a class act to raise a fuzz to the fuzz.

Genki Sudo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Genki Sudo (須藤元気, born March 8, 1978) is a Japanese mixed martial artist who currently competes in the Japanese based fight organization K-1.
Although he is seen as a fighter with good striking ability and has won fights by knockout in both mixed martial arts and kickboxing, Genki Sudo's skill set seems primarily focused on grappling and submission wrestling techniques.
Among the rather unorthodox techniques that he favors and can use effectively are the spinning backfist, a Jiu Jitsu leg-triangle choke and Jiu Jitsu armbar (both of which he can apply while standing), as well as dancing and turning his back to opponents in order to taunt or distract in mixed martial arts.

In addition to his ground skills, Genki Sudo is only one of few submission artists that will even attempt to execute the Flying Triangle, a move that many consider to be one of the most difficult submission techniques to implement.
Although we all realize that Genki Sudo's intent, while turning his back to an opponent, is a setup for him to draw in the opponent, this signifies that Genki Sudo is concentrating more on his own game plan and not devoting his full attention to his opponents actions.
Genki's fighting style is based on the "Bushido" or "The Samurai Way"; which in it's truest form requires one to learn the fighting technique as well as the philosophy and spirit of a warrior.

Sudo alternates between running around the ring and spinning like a top (oh and he's got a spiked butt!).

Genki is a solid character, but I do not think Dana would front the resources allowing Sudo to choreagraph his entrances with an entourage of dancers.
I'd love to see Genki fight in the UFC again but I dont see it happening, he's probably being paid well in K-1 and with his apperence at the end of Bushido 9 you have to wonder if he may be making a move to Pride in the future.
