Geoffrey Lawrence, 3rd Baron Trevethin and 1st Baron Oaksey (October 2, 1880 - August 28, 1971) was the main British Judge during the Nuremberg trials after World War II, and President of the Judicial group.
Geoffrey Lawrence was the youngest son of Lord Trevethin, briefly Lord Chief Justice of England in 1921-22.
Lawrence served in this capacity until, in 1932, he was appointed as a Judge of the King's Bench Division.

Lawrence was called to the Bar (1906, and later joined the chambers of House of Lords for domestic cases, and the Judicial Committee of the Canada, Lawrence acted as lead counsel with Finlay as junior.
With this appointment came membership of the Council of the 1932, he was appointed as a Judge of the King's Bench Division.
When Law Lord, Lawrence succeeded him as a Lord Justice of Appeal in Norman Birkett in the British delegation to the Judicial group in the Peerage as Baron Oaksey on 1947 (he also inherited the Barony of Trevethin from his brother on 1959 but was always known as Lord Oaksey).

Lawrence was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1906 to chambers specializing in taking appeal cases to the highest courts, the House of Lords.
Birkett resented the fact that Lawrence received a peerage after the end of the trials whereas he did not, although he was appointed to the Privy Council in 1947.
