		Doig's career total of 1,111 League goals in 201 games included a then record 19 in one game against Claremont-Cottesloe.

		Earlier this year at the age of 89, Doig was payed the ultimate tribute by Australia’s footballing fraternity by being inducted into to the AFL Hall of Fame.
