George Henschel is engaged in flsmithing at Kiel and the shop which he now owns and conducts was the first establishment of the kind in the town.
Henschel was married in 1902 to Miss Katie Spranger, who was born in Rhine township, Sheboygan county, in 1882, a daughter of August and Sophia (Schuelen) Spranger, who are now living at Kokomo, Indiana, where her father carries on farming.
Henschel was reared in the Reformed church and holds membership in the congregation of that denomination at Kiel.

 George Henschel
In 1881, Henschel was appointed conductor of the newly founded Boston Symphony Orchestra, which he conducted for its first three seasons.
In 1884, he moved to England where two years later, in 1886, he established the London Symphony Concerts, which were an important part of musical life in London during the eleven years of their existence.
He returned to the concert platform in 1909, and for five years sang and gave recitals in England and on the Continent.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK—Milton G. Henschel, a member of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses, died Saturday at the age of 82.
Born August 9, 1920, Milton Henschel relocated to Brooklyn, New York, as a teenager in 1934 when his father, Herman George Henschel, moved to the area to work on construction projects in the printeries and residence building for Jehovah's Witnesses.
Milton Henschel is survived by his wife, Lucille, and by his brother, Warren.
