 Private George Allan Mitchell
Private Mitchell`s ammunition was exhausted, but in spite of this he called on the men for one further effort and again led the assault up the steep and rocky hillside.
Private Mitchell, relising that prompt action was essential, rushed forward into the assault, firing his rifle from the hip, completely oblivious of the bullets which were sweeping the area.
Without hesitation, private mitchell dropped the 2-inch mortar which he was carrying, and seizing a rifle and bayonet, charged, alone, up the hill through intense Spandau fire.

George Allan Mitchell - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
George Allan Mitchell was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
On 23/24 January 1944 at Damiano Ridge, Italy, when an advance was held up by enemy machine-guns firing at point-blank range, Private Mitchell charged alone up the hill through intense Spandau fire, jumped into the weapon pit and killed the crew.
The advance then continued, but shortly afterwards was again held up and this time Private Mitchell's assault on the position resulted in six of the enemy killed and 12 taken prisoner.

 Mitchell Reviews
However, I just re-read it and now see that Mitchell's treatment, while not capable of inspiring much deep thought in the reader, does appear to be somehow proper in that it shows how difficult it must have been to have any semblence of coherent thought while living in the pop vortex.
Here author Mitchell seizes on the fact that many Armenian-Americans who fought in Europe during World War I were committed at the same time to finding and punishing the leaders of these massacres, many of whom had escaped to Europe.
Mitch Mitchell, the drummer for the Experience, writes his personal memoirs of the years with Hendrix on the road, along with rare photographs of rocks greatest guitarist.

 Amazon.com: Concert for Bangladesh (1972) : Video
So, there was George, and he was his usual self and funny and candid, and there was Ravi Shankar, too, playing, of course and joining the conversation, and much of it is about the concert for bangladesh.
And they showed an entire clip from the film of George doing the song "Bangladesh," and it just reminded me that this was a long time ago and concert films just weren't up to snuff.
When we see the big benefit concerts these days, they trot out one act after another to do their thing, but back in the day, they all actually teamed up and played together -- just like superheroes do in the comics, and in many ways, for a teenager back then, these were the superheroes.

 Land, Agriculture-Mitchell
On May 19, 1737, while action on Granville’s petition for his one-eighth part of Carolina was pending, King George II in council granted to Murray Crymble and James Huey 1.2 million acres of land on the Pee Dee, Cape Fear, and Neuse rivers on their petition to settle six thousand Swiss in North Carolina.
On March 7, 1727/8, John, Lord Carteret, who had inherited the one-eighth of Carolina originally granted to Sir George Carteret, learned that the other proprietors were willing to surrender their rights and property to the king for what appeared to be modest considerations.
He devised the district in North Carolina to George William, earl of Coventry, and to Thomas, Lord Viscount Weymouth, later the marquis of Bath, with a life interest in the proprietary to Henry Frederick Thynne, a son of Lord Weymouth, who later took the name Henry Frederick Carteret.

Diana Adams and Arthur Mitchell in George Balanchine's Agon.
The excerpt featured the original dancers, Arthur Mitchell and Diana Adams, and was shot live in the Montreal studios of the Canadian Broadcast Corporation a year or two after the premiere (and, it is not, regrettably, commercially available).
Adams, on the other hand, looked genuinely terrified in the CBC clip; and, at the end when she leans on Mitchell for support, you know that she has been through an experience, which, in some way, changed her life.
