Vincent George Rhoden (born December 13, 1926) is a former Jamaican athlete, winner of two Olympic gold medals in 1952.
Rhoden, who lived in San Francisco, was one of the successful long sprinters from Jamaica in the late 1940s and early 1950s, along with Arthur Wint and Herb McKenley.
He also won the AAU championships in 400 m from 1949 to 1951 and as a Morgan State University student, won the NCAA championships in 220 yd in 1951 and in 440 yd from 1950 to 1952.

Although saddened by the death of his son Joe, Eli RHODEN remained in the community and later gave five acres of land for a cemetery and church which was given the name, Menard’s Chapel.
The descendants of Eli RHODEN feel sure that he is buried in the Menard’s Chapel Cemetery because a grave beside the one of his second wife[*] has been kept mounded all the years.

The 82-year-old McKenley, won gold in the men's mile relay at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki to add to his silver medals in the 100-metres and 400m.
He teamed up with Arthur Wint, the silver medallist in the 800m at the same meet, Leslie Laing, a 200m specialist and George Rhoden in running a world record 3:03.9 to beat to the American powerhouse team and Germany.
McKenley finished the 100m in 10.40-second and the 400m in a career best 45.90, the same time as fellow Jamaica George Rhoden, who was declared the winner.
