George had acquired a large parcel of forestland the year before, and Lucille, determined to be with him, chose to forego a life of relative ease.
George knew that he had time to get the family and some friends who were visiting out of the house, and he went back in to save some of their personal belongings.
George contracted to build two homes for other Protestant families that had moved to the lake, and eventually they began to charge their guests, friends who had been coming for years, and to encourage others.

 Hurdy-gurdy Discography
This is a hard rock band with a political objective, singing rapidly and with feeling in Occitan, the language which is the stepson of the ancient Langue d'Oc of the troubadours.
Inspiriert von aktuellen Dance und Rock Grooves holt die Band die Drehleier aus den mystischen Tiefen des Mittelalters auf den Dancefloor." The English version is expected soon, but I think the German is pretty much self-translating: all you really need to know is "Drehleier = Hurdy-gurdy", and possibly that "Mittelalters" is "Middle Ages".
The bio/interview there mentions exotic instruments, but not hurdy-gurdy specifically, so it doesn't seem to be at the top of their agenda.
