(Union Station is on the Metrorail red line.) The airport has its own train station that is a free shuttle ride away from the BWI airport.
When you reach the main gate of Georgetown University at 37th Street and O Street, or if you take the shuttle service to Georgetown, you will see flyers of how to walk (two minutes from any point on campus) to the Inter-Cultural Center where the conference will be held.
Union Station is on the Metrorail red line.

 GO Transit opens 55th station
Yesterday, Toronto’s GO Transit opened the Mount Pleasant Station on the Georgetown Line — the eighth facility on the line and 55th station along the agency’s system.
Located between the Georgetown and Brampton stations, the facility will serve the Peel and Halton neighborhoods.
Still under construction, the station is ready for passenger service.

 The Schumin Web Transit Center - Washington DC - Foggy Bottom-GWU
Foggy Bottom-GWU is as close to Georgetown as Metro gets, since residents of Georgetown were successful in keeping Metro away from their neighborhood during the planning stages.
Foggy Bottom-GWU is one of Metro's darker stations, but not the darkest by any means (you want to see a dark station, check out Wheaton on the Red Line).
With the station teeming with post-inaugural crowds, Foggy Bottom-GWU is much better lit than it was a little more than a year before.

RAIL to the FAIR is sponsored by the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT), the Delaware Transit Corporation (DART First State) and Operation Lifesaver Delaware (An outreach program of Delaware Transit Corporation), in cooperation with the Delaware State Fair, Amtrak, Norfolk Southern Railway and the Delmarva Rail Passenger Association.
The Delaware State Fair is one of the state’s most exciting annual events, drawing more than 307,000 visitors during its 10-day run last year.
