The investigation indicates that a man at his Georgian Bluffs residence sexually assaulted a 14 year-old female from Owen Sound on the 18th of July, 2005.
A 50-year old Georgian Bluffs man was arrested on the 6th of August and made his first appearance in the Ontario Court of Justice-Owen Sound in a bail hearing on the 8th of August, 2005.
Of particular concern, was the existence of a "feud" situation against one family in the Derby area of Georgian Bluffs, which resulted in several criminal offenses being committed.

The largest grant - 90 thousand dollars - is going to the city of Owen Sound.
The Township of West Grey, the Municipality of Meaford, and the Georgian Bluffs Intertownship fire departments will each receive 70 thousand dollars.
The money is coming from the province's 30 million dollar Ontario Fire Service Grant, which was announced last week.
