Geraint Jones has more reasons to become glad
Birmingham: England wicket-keeper Geraint Jones had more reason than most to celebrate after taking the winning catch which secured his side's dramatic second Ashes Test win against Australia here at Edgbaston.
Jones, born in Papua New Guinea but qualified for England thanks to his Welsh parents, owes his place in the side to coach Duncan Fletcher's belief that keepers must be able to bat.
Jones, not usually one for showing his emotions on the field, could perhaps be forgiven his Edgbaston celebrations.
