The Earl of Kildare's Manor of Geashill - Offaly history, Archaeology, Offaly Towns, Heritage, Research, King's County |
 | | These jurors found that Gerald, 11th Earl, held the manor of Geashill, which descended in succession to Gerald, the 14th Earl, and that the latter died on the 11th February, 1612, leaving a son and heir named Gerald (15th Earl), who was only seven weeks old at the time of his father's death. |
 | | The result of this petition is not known; Gerald Bermingham, at any rate, unless he received a pardon, does not appear to have suffered, as his death took place on the 1st December, 1636, and he was succeeded at Grange by his son Edward. |
 | | This Gerald Bermingham was of Grange (of the House of Carrick) in the County Kildare. |
