		I enjoyed John Haymes Newton's performance of Superboy/Clark Kent much better than Gerard Christopher simply for the fact that Newton's Clark was played as a regular guy who would goof off with his buddies and not take everything quite as seriously.
		Gerard Christopher's performance as Clark just seemed a bit forced and the geeky Clark only worked for Christopher Reeve because face it, not only is he a better actor but his 'dorky Clark' helped cloud Lois Lane's perception of Clark/Superman.
		Anyways, John Newton's portrayal of Superboy was definitely not as 'geeky' as Gerard Christopher's (I know I'm echoing here, but it MUST be reinforced).
