		Russia's German Skurygin, the 1999 50km walk world champion, has been suspended for two years after taking a banned substance.
		Skurygin tested positive for a substance used to increase the body's own natural production of testosterone, following his walk event in Seville.
		The IAAF rejected Skurygin's excuse that he was seriously ill at the time of the test.
