Recently though, TESDA and the LGU were able to establish the Gerona Skills High school students who want to pursue their college degrees enroll in Manila or in nearby municipalities with facilities for college education.

The secretary, however, said his agency cannot repair the dike because of a protracted legal battle in the Supreme Court over the implementation of the second phase of the project, which is funded by a P1.256-billion loan from the Japan Bank for International Cooperation.
The worst disaster was caused by the dike damage in Colibang­bang, as this caused massive flooding in Paniqui and the neighboring towns of Ramos, Moncada and San Manuel.

Judge Luisito Adaoag and PO3 Eduardo Galicia fell in an entrapment operation in the town of Gerona, Tarlac, the NBI said yesterday.
The officers said the warrant arose from a case of estafa in the town of Gerona.

Gerona 1's born stopped at 11.50 meters due to a log which was hit by the drilling team, making it impossible to continue on with the probe for this borehole at a lower depth, but at the same time indicating that the field N-values preceding this depth is quite low.

As then Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer for Tarlac Teofilo Inocencio recalls, the department was concentrated on rushing program implementation, targeting as many as 8,000 to 10,000 hectares of Tarlac land each year for coverage, the better to beef up annual achievements.
Documents on file at the Tarlac Register of Deeds show that the de Leon estate's 77 farmer-beneficiaries had been given certificates of full payment and their Certificates of Land Ownership Award or CLOAs as far back as 1996, or less than a year after their VLT applications were approved.
