	Rollins Band Album Reviews
		Going over the 8-minutes border, “Almost Real” is the first of the lengthy jams on this album (half of the songs are between 4:50 and 5:30, the rest going well over 7 minutes).
		Some people may not like it because of the introspective and depressing lyrics (because of his unrelenting honesty and outspokenness, Rollins also became an easy target) or the immensely heavy music (as if buildings are collapsing near you), which creates a truly apocalyptic atmosphere.
		Even though the drums lack that massiveness they’d get later on, the band doesn’t have the tightness yet and the guitar and drum parts are a bit simpler – the main difference seems to be the amount of money and overdubs that were invested.

		I think there were some instrumental ideas left over from the Born Again session, and possibly (although I can't remember) some rough vocals which should have been (but may not have been) erased.
		The Black Sabbath 'Born Again' album sleeve was designed under extraordinary circumstances; basically what had happened was that Sharon and Ozzy had split very acrimoniously from her fathers (Don Arden) management and record label.
		I then took some fl and white photocopies of the image (the picture is credited to 'Rizzoli Press') that I overexposed, stuck the horns, nails, fangs into the equation, used the most outrageous colour combination that acid could buy, bastardised a bit of the Olde English typeface and sat back, shook my head and chuckled.

		I had looked forward to starting on the advanced portion of the course and did not expect it to be this difficult and frustrating.
		You will get used to the dictators and will be able to type what they will say sometimes without even hearing it (not that you should do this), because a lot of them use the same terminology and phrases.
