Algeria's national football team hosts its Ghanaian counterpart in a solidarity match 5 December, in Algiers, informed sources said Thursday.
Speaking to the Graphic Sports at Winneba on Thursday, the seasoned coach who has been confirmed to lead the Ghanaian team to the next Africa Nations Cup in Mali 2002, hinted that the inveited foreign-based players will comprise of those who are not engaged in any international competition currently.
He indicated that his team of 22 players will be made up of 12 locals and 10 foreign-based professionals.

Kenya thumped Africa football Youth giants Ghana out of the first round of the qualifiers leaving the Ghanaian coach bitterly complaining that some members of the opponent team were faking their age.
The teams were due to play the return leg of their tie tomorrow, but this remains highly unlikely.

The head coach of Ghana's national football team Rinus Israel has resigned after his team were knocked out of the African Nations Cup in Burkina Faso.
A source close to the Ghanaian national squad said that Mr Israel would have quit even if his side had gone on to win the tournament.
The coach wanted to leave because of disagreements with team officials over player selection, the source said.

According to him, every striker in the club was looking forward to playing the CAF Champions League match and he was happy that he was part of the team that took Simba apart in Aba.
He added that his sixth goal was an icing on the cake for him following the wonderful performance of his team despite the heavy down pour that also robbed them of the chances of scoring more goals and increasing the amount the club would from CAF.
