 Punjab Online: Discussions: Bhangra
Unless a school was interested in throwing one, the chances of it happening are slim.
Although all the giddha teams from the State could compete in the competition it probably would not attract the same types of crowds and draw as much interest as Bhangra does.
Maybe place the top 2 in each category, but like you said, comparing them agaisnt each other is very difficult and unfair because giddha teams are cleary doing Giddha and Not Bhangra.

 Punjab Online: Discussions: Bhangra
With Bruin Bhangra coming Up, I know it probably won`t be an issue but after watching some teams compete like at SJSU Nachda Punjab, I wander how A Girls giddha Team places at a Bhangra comeptition.
But if they did that and a guys team wanted in and did Bhangra, they wouldn`t place because they broke the rule of Giddha acts only.
However if the guys did want to perform at the competition, they could go Malvie Giddha but then again that would create some controversary again because it is alot harder to do Malviegiddha and find that many talented musicians.
