Gilboa (Hebrew: הר הגלבוע) is a ridge above the Valley of Jezreel in Israel.
The ridge extends east-west and is west of the Jordan River.
The ridge also lent its name to the second battle (the Battle of Gilboa) fought in the valley below, in which the Philistines defeated Saul and Israel.

My wife and I cataloged the Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church Cemetery, located directly on the boundary separating Marion and Taylor Counties of Kentucky, on Sep 30, 2000.
All visible and identifiable graves are listed, however, I have been told that there are four to six unmarked graves at the lower end of the cemetery that contain the remains of infants.
Gilboa Baptist Church is located, as near as I can determine, at the following coordinates: N37º 28' 28" - W85º 24' 20".

As originally conceived, the Long Path was to extend from the Bear Mountain to Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondacks.
