  Gilera Motorcycles -
I have bought some Gilera shirts from Metro Racing for my daughter and I, and cant wait until next spring to take it to the local European motorcycle rider meeting at one of the local pizza places (pizza, Italian motorcycles, they go together, right?).
Gilera is to return with a full range of bikes almost a decade after the production of its last bike.
Gilera has a recent history of such designs — in the early 1990s it developed a 60-degree V-twin similar to Aprilia’s RSV motor.

 Motoring - Gilera
Gilera is back in the sport bike arena
Gilera's Supersport 600 was launched at the Milan motorcycle show and has a better power-to-weight ratio than one-litre races of a decade ago.
Seldom does a miniwheeler live up to its name like this one does — Gilera’s Runner is the fastest small-bore scooter IOL has yet tested, and one of the best-handling.

 Gilera Nexus 500 - 2005
The Gilera Nexus 500 can be summed up in a few figures - weight 195 kg, 48 per cent in front and 52 per cent at the rear, moved by a sophisticated 500cc four stroke electronic injection engine that provides over 40 hp worth of power and anticipated Euro2 standards on licensed vehicle emissions.
The Gilera Nexus is the result of a specific philosophy - cross-breeding the sport character of the Gilera brand with the scooter.
The Gilera Nexus is equipped with an anti-theft Immobiliser that prevents the scooter from starting if a key (even one that works mechanically) is not electronically recognised by the engine control system.
