		To the west of Gimje is the city of Jeonju and the county of Wanju, to the south is the city of Jeongeup and the county of Buan, to the north are the cities of Iksan and Gunsan, and to the west is the Yellow Sea (황해).
		Gimje is located in an area that goes from the Noryeong Mountains to the Yellow Sea.

		The culling of some 365,000 birds in Gimje was continuing Wednesday, three days after bird flu was confirmed at the quail farm -- the third outbreak in less than a month in South Korea.
		Poultry movements were banned within a 10-kilometer radius, as police deployed 210 officers around Gimje and set up checkpoints on a major road to stop cars entering the affected area.
