  Giuseppe Saracco - LoveToKnow 1911
GIUSEPPE SARACCO (1821-1907), Italian politician and financier, and knight of the Annunziata, was born at Bistagno on the 9th of October 1821, and, after qualifying as an advocate, entered the Piedmontese parliament in 1849.
A supporter of Cavour until the latter's death he joined the party of Rattazzi and became under-secretary of state for public works in the Rattazzi cabinet of 1862.

Giuseppe Zanardelli (October 29, 1826 - December 26, 1903) was an Italian jurisconsult, nationalist and political figure.
Returning to the presidency of the chamber, he again abandoned his post in order to associate himself with the obstructionist campaign against the Public Safety Bill (1899‑1900), and was rewarded by being enabled to form an administration with the support of the Extreme Left upon the fall of the Saracco cabinet in February 1901.
He was unable to achieve much during his last term of office, as his health was greatly impaired; his Divorce Bill, although voted in the chamber, had to be withdrawn on account of the strong opposition of the country.

As for the parents, Giuseppe was born on 30 Nov 1768, the son of the late Giovanni Matteo.
In 1905, I found Filippo (Philip) Saracco and his wife, Franceschina, living at 22 Camden in Paterson, in the same house as Franceschina's brother and sister-in-law, Raffaele De Rosa and Giuseppina (Josephine), Franceschina and Raffaele's sister Mariantonietta, and their parents, Giovanni (John) De Rosa and Lucia (Lucy) De Rosa, nee Nannariello.
On the back of the Saracco headstone, Laura's great uncle Sebastian, 1905-1970, and his wife Angelina, 1905-1965, are buried, as are Laura's great aunt Jo, who we had made arrangements to talk to shortly before she died, 1903-2000, and her husband, Andrew Polombo, 1898-1982.

Giuseppe's father Giovanni was dead by Nicoletta's birth, as was Francesca's mother Maria.
Nicoletta's father Giuseppe Matteo was born and baptized on 30 Nov 1768, according to both the 1802 Census and his baptismal record.
As I found earlier in Giuseppe's death record from 1844, his parents were Giovanni Matteo and Maria Masuccio, information that was confirmed by his baptismal record.

 L'ANCORA - Saracco, Giolitti, Rattazzi e l'identità alessandrina
