		GLAM is a program for discovering functional motifs shared by a set of nucleotide sequences.
		GLAM takes as input a file of nucleotide sequences in fasta format - here is an example.
		GLAM works by starting from a completely random alignment of the sequences, and making small refinements to it over many iterations, in an attempt to find the best possible alignment.

		Producer 'Carl-Jan Colpaert' removed his name from "Glam" when Emerson Bixby suggested they edit forty minutes from anywhere in the film and replace all dialogue with rock music, so they could at least market it as background fodder to German rock bands.
		"Glam" was obviously targeted towards the wrong audience judging from the preview and the cover art.
		I think people rent this movie expecting it to be a typical light-hearted comedy, and instead are subject to some serious marijuana induced post-modern experimental film-making.

	ASU National Net - What is GLAM?
		GLAM is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) ASU Members, a grouping of members of the ASU who are campaigning for the rights of LGBT workers in Australia.
		GLAM was formed nationally by a resolution of the ASU National Conference in 1998.
