After reading the reviews for the London show, I must admit to being aprehensive as to what Todd and the Liars were going to bring to Glasgow.
The first half continued apace, with the heavy beat tracks in Liars being given an airing - the Academy did not have the same acoustic problems as reported in London.

I think people are making too big a deal over what to do at tool shows, if you want to stand around and embrace the music then thats cool, likewise if you wanna jump shout and feel the aggression thats cool too.
I would have to say I got more out of the barras gig in 2001 but that was my first time seeing the band and thats such a special thing.
One thing I would say is that the main reason i didnt find it such a big experience compared to the barras was the visuals, not so much the visuals themselves but the fact that due to the dimensions of the academy stage they could only fit 2 of the 4 screens up.

The sold-out crowd at the Academy loved it as David Coverdale, pictured, continued the oldies revival, bringing this latest incarnation of Whitesnake on it's 30th anniversary tour.
Coverdale, you will recall, then completely unknown, took over as lead singer of Deep Purple in 1973.
