Glaslyn is a bustling small community situated in the heart of the woodlands of Saskatchewan and is located about 70 km Northwest of North Battleford on Highway 11.
The town of Glaslyn itself has all the modern features of any small prairie town including an RCMP detachment, two banks, two grocery stores, five churches, five churches, a K-12 school, senior citizen housing, and a wood products plant which employs over 50 full time people.
The Glaslyn CAP Organization's vision of the project is threefold.

The chick had been standing in the nest strengthening its wings when it fell backwards and was not strong enough to correct itself.

The access agreement between the WCA, the National Trust and the Glaslyn Anglers Association allows canoeing on the Glaslyn between the Old Railway Bridge (700m downstream of Beddgelert) and Pont Aberglaslyn, from 18 October to 1 April.
The river below Pont Aber Glaslyn used to be tidal until the construction of the causeway at Porthmadog.

Roller hockey in Porthmadog started back in 1998, the Glaslyn Leisure Centre started the puck moving, by raising interest then our present coach Mr Ted Leslie joined us to assist in the teaching.
Initially we only had two training sessions a week,we now have three, rangeing in age from 6 to 19.More joined as word spread and money was raised to buy a goal keepers kit and team strip.
The Club name was decided by the kids Glaslyn, because of the area and pirates because of the links with the sea.
