The third meeting to discuss Glen Cove's Master Plan, the meeting focusing on the waterfront, was sure to attract more residents than the two previous meetings, and Mayor Ralph V. Suozzi was aware that Glen Cove City Hall chambers would not be able to accommodate the anticipated crowd.

The Glen Cove Y.C. Clubhouse was destroyed by fire in January 1981.
