In 1825, Benajah Williams, a United Empire Loyalist of Welsh stock, purchased a 200 acre parcel of land in Esquesing township, on a section of the Credit River where there was a strong current.
Benajah was 61 years old by the time he bought the property and it was his son, Charles who became the leading figure in the community.
The lights were turned off at eleven pm, but apparently the superintendent could be bribed with a bottle of “a pure beverage” to keep the lights on later, for a party.

 Megan J Kenny Bio
Megan J. Kenny was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1972 and was exposed and involved in art at an early age.
Works from this series were exhibited in a number of exhibitions including the 3rd, 4th and 5th International Glass Garden Sculpture Exhibition in 2000, 2002 and 2004 all held in Munster, Germany as well as the 5th and 6th GLASRIJK in 2001 and 2002 both taking place in Tubbergen, Holland.
At the close of 2000, Kenny sold her partnership in GLEN WILLIAMS GLASS artist collective and glass blowing studio, which is currently still in existence.

I had been out for an evening drive and came to the bottom of a hill in Glen Williams.
I also had friends that lived on a big hill in the Glen, they used to see UFO's, from their backyard.
I think that Glen Williams has many more sightings than we are aware of.
