The new home for the NHL Coyotes is a 17,653 seat arena located in Glendale, Arizona.
The new arena is 600,000 square feet, contained on a 223 acre site, and is part of a 6 million square foot mixed use development including retail, restaurants, office and entertainment uses.
IFG was retained to represent the City of Glendale during the negotiations, design, and construction of the arena.

Moyes, a trucking magnate who lives in Glendale, played a big role in persuading the city to spend $180 in tax dollars on the arena, then had to arrange for another $40 million in September to complete it.
After determining the arena couldn't be finished before the season, the Coyotes had the league front-load their schedule with road games, so they will have 28 home games left.

With the Phoenix Coyotes out of town for most of the week, arena officials have had plenty of time to convert the pro hockey den into a concert hall of sorts, and general manager Ron Woodbridge said he expects close to a full house when the show gets under way at 8 p.m.
