Born in Cannock, England on August 21, 1952, Glenn Hughes, also known as "The Voice of Rock", is a bassist and vocalist who fronted Finders Keepers in the 1960s and the British funk rock band, Trapeze, in the early 1970s before moving on in 1973 to join forces alongside David Coverdale in the legendary Mk.
Currently, Hughes is on tour for his latest solo effort, "Soul Mover", in addition to collaborating, once again, with his longtime friend, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi on the album 'Fused' released in mid 2005.

Glenn Hughes, director of the drama program at the University of Washington for more than 30 years, gained international fame as the pioneer of “theater in the round.” His experiments in a friend’s penthouse apartment led to the construction of the Penthouse Theatre, the world's first modern arena theater.
Hughes was born in Cozad, Nebraska, in 1894.
Hughes believed six weeks was an optimum run: it gave young actors enough time to master their roles; provided time for word-of-mouth advertising to generate good attendance; and it was the minimum amount of time needed to mount a new show.

I must also give credit to the KLF for recruiting Glenn who sang on their hit song "America: What Time Is Love?" It was that song that firmly cemented his comeback throughout the 90's not to mention them labelling Glenn as "The Voice Of Rock." A title he still cherishes to this day.
Man, Glenn Hughes has got to be exhausted; releasing Soul Mover, Fused (with Tony Iommi) and HTP II (with Joe Lynn Turner) all within a year of one another.
glenn is regarded as the voice of rock and may i say rightfully so yet he still doesn't get the recognition he deserves by the public.
