Today, I bring you a home run, an exclusive talk with Glenn Reynolds, otherwise known to you as Instapundit.
Glenn, a law professor at the University of Tennessee (in Tennessee) was the first blogger other than myself to catch the eye of The New York Times, an unscrupulous left-wing newspaper.
As you can see, Glenn Reynolds, the Instapundit, is completely different on his blog than in person.

 Glenn Reynolds - SourceWatch
Reynolds has engaged in a campaign to convince readers that most journalists actively distort coverage as part of a desire to ensure America's defeat in Iraq, with the apparent goal of replacing a freedom of the press as it exists today with mandated, trustworthy patriotism:
Freedom of the press, as it exists today (and didn't exist, really, until the 1960s) is unlikely to survive if a majority -- or even a large and angry minority -- of Americans comes to conclude that the press is untrustworthy and unpatriotic.
When Matthew Yglesias criticized this comment (http://www.americanprogress.org/site/pp.asp?c=biJRJ8OVFandb=83795), Reynolds responded (http://www.instapundit.com/archives/015804.php) only with links to an unverifiable secondhand report of an unnamed journalist and a comment taken out of context.

Blogcritics.org: InstaPundit Glenn Reynolds, fascist hatemonger
Did Glenn Reynolds know that there was no credible support for this smear, which he delivered to his tens of thousands of daily readers, and which the rest of the right-wing blogosphere echoed with glee?
Glenn Reynolds- stay away from my man! : I think Brian is from Venus, and Al is from Mars.
One measure of Reynold's apparent power in the blogosphere is the level of obsequy displayed in defending him.

open book: Glenn Reynolds, Laff Riot
Based on where the picture of Glenn in the shirt was originally posted and the accompanying comments, it's pretty clear that the people involved see the "I had an abortion" shirt as something pretty offensive.
The whole point was that the people who had taken Glenn to task for some imagined subtext of a different shirt would probably be OK with a shirt that to most people would be far more objectively offensive.
As it was used by Reynolds, though, the picture was to illustrate his "pro-choice stance;" the source of the picture was only mentioned in a footnote that seems to not have been part of the original post.
