Glimpses of World History is one of the best known works ofIndian Nationalist leader [[Jawaharlal Nehru].
In the form of a series of letters to his daughter, Indira Gandhi, Glimpses is one of the first modern attempts at historiography from a non-Eurocentric angle.
All these letters, though not a first hand reference on history, contain Nehru's personal remarks on all the "great" moments of history (elaborating on all the things he liked, in particular).
